Unbox & connect to USB

Plug your panel into a rear USB 3.0 port (blue port). Avoid front ports and unpowered hubs — they cause backlight flicker.

Choose your control software

Rowsfire App — recommended, plug-and-play, no configuration needed. Or use MobiFlight with our pre-built config files for advanced programmable customization.

CHECK 03

MobiFlight users: Download config, import & fly

⚠ Only required if using MobiFlight. If you're using Rowsfire App, you're done — skip this step.

1. Download: Find your panel + aircraft combo below in the Device Resources section. One-click download for Fenix A320, FBW A32NX, ToLiss A320, and PMDG 737.

2. Import: Open MobiFlight → File → Import → select the .mcc file. Status should turn green. If gray, re-plug USB.

3. Launch: Start MSFS / X-Plane → load your aircraft → click RUN in MobiFlight. A green checkmark in the bottom-right means full handshake. You're cleared for takeoff. ✈

What's the issue?

▸ DIAGNOSIS · POWER ISSUE

  1. Move USB cable to a rear USB 3.0 port (blue) on your motherboard. Front ports often deliver insufficient power.
  2. If using a USB hub, switch to a powered hub with its own AC adapter, or remove the hub entirely.
  3. Try a different USB cable (some thin cables can't carry enough current for the backlight).

▸ DIAGNOSIS · CONNECTION FAILED

  1. Disable firewall and antivirus during installation. They sometimes block MobiFlight's serial communication.
  2. In MobiFlight, go to Settings → MobiFlight Modules. Check the COM port — it should be green. If gray, re-plug the USB.
  3. Confirm you're running MobiFlight v10.5.0 or later. Older versions don't recognize newer Rowsfire firmware.
  4. If still not detected, try the Rowsfire App instead — it bypasses MobiFlight entirely.

▸ DIAGNOSIS · CONFIG MISMATCH

  1. Make sure you imported the correct .mcc file for your aircraft. Fenix A320 uses fenixA320.mcc; FBW A32NX uses a different file.
  2. FSUIPC7 must be running. Verify the green checkmark appears in MobiFlight's bottom-right.
  3. In MSFS, go in-game and click RUN in MobiFlight. Switches start working only after this handshake.

▸ DIAGNOSIS · FALSE POSITIVE

  1. This is a known false positive on small-publisher Windows software. The Rowsfire App is signed and safe.
  2. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" on the Windows SmartScreen popup.
  3. If using a third-party antivirus, add the install folder to the exception list before re-running setup.
  4. Versions 1.7.1 and later include a verified signing certificate that resolves most warnings.

▸ DIAGNOSIS · OUTDATED FIRMWARE

  1. Rotation reversed or buttons mapped wrong? Re-download the latest firmware for your panel — switch-reverse issues for A112 V1.1, A113 V1.1, and A105 V3.2 were fixed in app v2.3.
  2. In the Rowsfire App, check for updates on launch. For MobiFlight users, re-import the latest .mcc from the config library.
  3. If you're using a known-buggy combo (e.g. B107 + PMDG with reversed DIM switch), check the v2.3 changelog for the latest fixes — re-flash firmware after updating.

▸ DIAGNOSIS · DATA SYNC ISSUE

  1. If both MSFS 2020 and 2024 are installed, make sure both bridge files are installed (auto-fixed in app v2.0+).
  2. For lag on rotary encoders, update to the latest app version — encoder latency was improved in v2.1+.
  3. Verify FSUIPC7 v7.3.0+ is running — older versions cause display refresh issues.
  4. Running 3+ panels (A111 + A112 + A113) on the same USB hub? Try plugging one into the motherboard's built-in USB and the rest into the hub — overload can cause one device to drop off.
