Where to get free config files & resources for your Rowsfire panel

Rowsfire Support Team March 2025 4 min read
One of the best things about the Rowsfire community is that you don't have to build everything from scratch. Pilots around the world share their MobiFlight profiles, Rowsfire App configs, and setup tips every day — completely free. This guide shows you exactly where to find them, and what to watch out for when using files from outside the official channels.

1. Facebook group — daily discussion & peer support

The most active place for real-time help from other Rowsfire users.

Rowsfire Official Facebook Group

Rowsfire Facebook group
~3,000 members
90% daily activity rate
Free to join

This is the most active Rowsfire community online. Members post daily about panel setup, MobiFlight configuration, sim compatibility, hardware questions, and share their own config files directly in the thread comments.

If you're stuck on a specific issue — wrong axis mapping, a switch that won't register, brightness settings — just post a photo and someone will usually respond within a few hours. The collective knowledge here covers virtually every Rowsfire panel across MSFS, X-Plane, and DCS.

Use the group search to look up your specific panel model before posting — there's a good chance the question has already been answered.

2. Discord server — community-made config files

The best source for ready-to-download configuration files made by other pilots.

The Discord server has dedicated channels where community members upload their own configuration files — fully built and tested profiles that you can download and use immediately. This is the fastest way to get up and running with a specific aircraft add-on.

Config files currently shared by the community include:

A107 · TolissA320 / A321 profiles
A105 · TolissPanel config
A106 · TolissPanel config
A107 v3.1 · FSlabsA321 NEO profile
A111 · FBWFlyByWire A32NX
A112 · TolissIntegrated config
A113 · TolissIntegrated config

Community members regularly add new files as they finish their own setups. The list above is just a snapshot — join the server and check the dedicated configs channel for the most current uploads.

Tip When you download a config from Discord, read the original poster's notes carefully. Most members include the panel model, software version (MobiFlight / Rowsfire App), and the specific aircraft livery or variant the file was built for.

3. Official Resource Hub — guides, firmware & tutorials

The most reliable starting point for any Rowsfire setup — maintained directly by the Rowsfire team.

Rowsfire Exclusive Resource Hub

The official Resource Hub is the single most complete reference for everything Rowsfire — curated, tested, and kept up to date by the team. It's the best place to start before turning to community channels.

Resources available on the Hub include:

MobiFlight setupStep-by-step panel config guides
Rowsfire AppInstallation & usage tutorials
Firmware filesLatest panel firmware downloads
Video tutorialsPanel-specific walkthrough videos
Wiring diagramsHardware connection references
FAQ & known issuesOfficial troubleshooting docs

If you're setting up a panel for the first time, always check the Resource Hub first. It will save you significant time and ensure you're working from the correct baseline before applying any community-made config files.

4. Third-party sites — useful, but verify first

Sites like flightsim.to host Rowsfire-compatible profiles, but they come with important caveats.

Third-party file repositories
e.g. flightsim.to and similar sites

Sites like flightsim.to do host Rowsfire-compatible MobiFlight profiles created by independent community members. They can be genuinely useful — particularly for less common aircraft add-ons not yet covered in the Discord channels.

However, because these files are uploaded by individuals outside the Rowsfire community, we recommend treating them as a starting point rather than a finished solution. Here's what to check before applying any file:

Before using any third-party config file: Check the following before applying it to your panel setup.
  • Verify the panel model matches yours exactly — A107 v3.0 and v3.1 use different encoder assignments. A file built for one version may map controls incorrectly on another.
  • Check the MobiFlight version compatibility — older profile files may use deprecated module names that newer MobiFlight versions no longer recognise.
  • Read all comments and reviews on the file page — other users will flag any known issues, missing mappings, or version conflicts in the comments section.
  • !
Do not apply untested files to a live sim session — load the profile in MobiFlight first, verify the device is recognised correctly, then test each control in a parked aircraft before flight.
  • !
Back up your existing working configuration first — export your current MobiFlight profile before importing any new file, so you can restore it if something doesn't work as expected.

When in doubt, share the file link in the Discord server or Facebook group — other members may already have tested it and can confirm whether it works with your setup.

5. Quick-reference comparison

A summary of all four resource channels to help you decide where to start.

Channel Best for Config files Trust level
Facebook group Live help, troubleshooting, peer Q&A Shared in comments High — community verified
Discord server Ready-to-use config downloads, aircraft-specific profiles Dedicated channels High — community verified
Third-party sites Niche aircraft profiles not yet in Discord Public uploads Verify before use
Rowsfire Resource Hub Setup guides, MobiFlight instructions, firmware, video tutorials Official only Official source
Recommended order Start with the official Resource Hub and Discord for config files. Use the Facebook group for any questions along the way. Only turn to third-party sites for aircraft add-ons not yet covered by the community, and always verify before applying.
