Can You Really Build an Almost-Full Airbus Cockpit for Only $1,000?

By Rowsfire Team| April 16, 2026| Airbus A320 · MSFS & X-Plane
A complete A320 home cockpit feels like an impossible project — until you look at it the right way. With five Rowsfire panels — the A107 overhead, two A111 RMP/ACP units, A112 CKPT-LT and A113 ATC — you cover the overhead and the full centre console. That's roughly 60% of the real A320 cockpit, fully functional, at under $1,000 with our current sitewide 10% discount.

Why the cockpit matters — immersion that changes how you fly

There's a difference between flying a sim and flying a cockpit. The hardware is what creates that difference.

When your hands reach for a physical switch to turn on anti-ice, when you tune a radio frequency on a real RMP encoder, when the overhead lights up exactly as the procedure calls for — the sim stops being a game and becomes something closer to training. This is what serious sim pilots describe when they talk about immersion: not visual fidelity, but procedural authenticity.

The A320 cockpit has a specific architecture — overhead for systems management, centre console for communication and navigation, FCU for flight management. Rowsfire's A-series covers each of these areas with hardware that is built to the correct functional logic, compatible with the deepest A320 add-ons available, and stable enough to run for hours without interruption.

Rowsfire at FSweekend 2026 — and what's next

We exhibited at FSweekend 2026 in the Netherlands — one of the largest flight simulation events in Europe. The B107 and A-series panels were on live display, and we had the chance to meet hundreds of sim pilots, answer build questions in person, and demonstrate the Rowsfire App setup live.

The response was clear: once people see and touch the hardware, the question of "is it worth it" answers itself.

Next stop — USA Expo: We're heading to the US sim expo soon, and we'll be bringing full cockpit build showcases — complete A320 and B737 setups running live. If you're attending, come find us. Details will be announced in our Facebook group and Discord first.

Frequently asked questions

Can you really build an Airbus cockpit for under $1,000?
Yes — five Rowsfire panels (A107 overhead + two A111 RMP/ACP + A112 + A113) cover the overhead and the full centre console, about 60% of the real A320 cockpit, and come in under $1,000 with the sitewide 10% discount.
How do the discounts work?
Add 4+ Rowsfire panels to your cart for an automatic 14% bundle discount at checkout. The sitewide 10% discount is always active, and both combine for the best savings. One community order of five panels came to $1,066.36, saving $173.59.
Which A320 add-ons and simulators are supported?
Fenix A320, FlyByWire A32NX, PMDG and ToLiss on MSFS 2020/2024 and X-Plane 12, via the Rowsfire App or MobiFlight. Pre-built config files are shared in the community.
Should I get the A107 or wait for the A107 Pro?
The A107 V3.1 ships immediately with full overhead coverage in a compact form factor. The A107 Pro is now available too — larger, with more switches and sections for the most complete overhead. Choose the A107 for a compact build, or the A107 Pro for maximum coverage.
Is the hardware stable for long sessions?
Yes — community members have run the A107 in 3+ hour live streams with no disconnections, crashes or software conflicts, including multi-panel setups running alongside WinWing hardware.
