5 steps to your first flight.

Follow these steps in order. Don't skip the antivirus disable step — it's the #1 cause of installation failures.

1

Install MobiFlight Connector v10.5.0

Download MobiFlight Connector v10.5.0 (or later stable version) and run the installer with proper permissions.

After installation:

  • Do NOT install the beta version of the software
  • During installation, disable your firewall and antivirus software
  • Click "Allow" for all software permission requests; otherwise, the software may not install completely
  • If needed, you can contact us directly to obtain the pre-extracted software package

↑ Click "Allow" on permission prompts
⚠️ Common mistake: Skipping the antivirus disable step is the #1 reason installations fail silently. The installer needs to write to Program Files and register USB drivers — security software often blocks both without showing an error.
2

Install FSUIPC7

FSUIPC7 is the "translator" between your simulator and MobiFlight. Required for MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, and X-Plane.

  • Download FSUIPC7 from the official website (avoid third-party mirrors)
  • Right-click the FSUIPC7 shortcut → Propertiesuncheck "Run as administrator"
  • Ensure the install folder has read/write access for the Users group (avoids OneDrive sync conflicts)
  • Required: Windows 10/11 64-bit + .NET Framework 4.8 or later
💡 Why this matters: Without FSUIPC7, MobiFlight can detect your panel but can't communicate with the simulator. You'll see a yellow ⚠️ instead of a green ✓ in the bottom-right corner.
3

Load the Configuration File in MobiFlight

Open MobiFlight Connector and load the configuration file matching your aircraft:

  • For the FENIX A320 aircraft model: Load fenixA320-MINI-DB.mcc
  • For the FBW aircraft model: Load FBW-A320-MINI-DB.mcc

Note: Download the configuration file corresponding to your aircraft model.

💡 Where to get config files: Scan the QR code on your Rowsfire panel manual, or download from our official Config File Table or GitHub repository.
4

Load the Hardware Device

Load the hardware device in MobiFlight — this only needs to be done once. The software will automatically recognize the device the next time you open it.

💡 Multi-panel setup: If you have multiple Rowsfire panels (e.g. A107 + A103) connected at the same time, MobiFlight will recognize all of them in the "Modules" menu. Click OK to register all devices.
5

Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator & Connect Hardware

  • After launching Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, FSUIPC7 will run automatically
  • Select the FENIX A320 aircraft model, enter the game, and click "RUN" in MobiFlight to load the hardware
  • You can now use the light peripheral and all panel functions in the game

✓ Success indicator: After properly installing and launching all software, hardware, and the game, a green checkmark (√) will appear in the bottom right corner of MobiFlight.
⚠️ Yellow ⚠️ instead of green ✓? The bridge isn't connecting. Check whether the software is installed correctly — see the Troubleshooting section below for the exact fix.

The "configuration hub" for your hardware.

MobiFlight Connector is button-binding software between peripherals and games, featuring powerful functions for defining buttons of gaming peripherals. With Rowsfire's pre-configured files, you can:

Special Notes: Common Issues & Solutions.

99% of MobiFlight setup problems fall into one of these categories. Try these fixes before contacting support.

🔴 Issue 1: No response when device plugged in, or device not recognized properly

Solution: Connect the device to the USB port on the motherboard at the back of the host to ensure sufficient power supply for the device.

  • Rear motherboard USB provides stable, regulated power (front USB hubs are often underpowered)
  • If MobiFlight still doesn't recognize the panel, install the CH340 driver manually — scan the QR code in your panel manual
  • Try a different USB cable, especially if reusing an older one
🟡 Issue 2: Device fails to interact with game (yellow ⚠️ in MobiFlight)

Solution: Copy the \MSFS2020-module\mobiflight-event-module folder from the MobiFlight installation directory to your \Community folder.

This module is what lets MobiFlight communicate with MSFS — without it, MobiFlight detects the panel but can't send events to the sim.

  • Find the source: typically C:\Program Files\MobiFlight\MobiFlight Connector\MSFS2020-module\mobiflight-event-module
  • Paste into: ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Community\
  • Restart MSFS and MobiFlight — the yellow ⚠️ should turn green ✓
📁 Issue 3: Missing preset configuration files / Custom button mapping
