One year ago, Rowsfire stepped into the home cockpit industry not with a desire to rush for market share, but to solve a long-standing dilemma every flight simmer faces: professional-grade cockpit hardware is either prohibitively expensive, or poorly finished and lacking immersive realism.
The brand grew from our founder’s own frustrations while building a private A320 home cockpit. What began as a personal idea has now evolved into a complete product portfolio covering Airbus A-series and Boeing B-series panels. This first-year journey is more than a story of product launches and brand growth. It is a journey of listening, refining, iterating and advancing side by side with every member of the Rowsfire family.
Our Core Mission: Building Gear for Simmers, Not Pure Profit
Our founder got into flight simulation years ago. Like countless hobbyists, he was captivated by the tactile control of physical switches, backlit panels and the immersion of a full cold-and-dark startup. But reality was frustrating: premium aviation hardware came with a huge price tag far beyond regular simmers’ budgets. Most DIY replica products on the market suffered from rough craftsmanship, stiff switch feedback, inconsistent backlighting and complicated setup workflows.
There was a clear gap in the market for hardware that balanced authentic aviation fidelity and affordable pricing. That gap became the starting point of Rowsfire.
We assembled a precision engineering team and invited active and retired airline pilots as technical consultants. The damping force of every switch, color temperature of every backlight, panel layout and label printing all strictly reference official aircraft drawings. We rejected hasty mass production and focused on polishing every tiny detail.
From day one, our belief has never changed: A cockpit is where passion takes shape. We want every flight simmer to own an immersive professional home cockpit, without overspending or wrestling with complicated configuration.
One Year of Refinement: Every Upgrade Comes From Your Voice
Looking back over the past year, Rowsfire has never been a brand that develops and sells products in isolation. All product iterations, feature improvements and detail tweaks originate from genuine feedback within the sim community. We firmly believe great home cockpit hardware is not created by a factory alone — it is co-created by every flight enthusiast.
We started with our popular A107 overhead panel, then rolled out the upgraded A107 PRO, followed by A110, A111, A112 and other panels across the full Airbus lineup. The B107 Boeing 737 overhead panel was released to fill the gap for affordable Boeing simulation hardware. Every new product line is a response to community requests.
Our Airbus product line is now entering its final phase. Once A115 and A116 finish production, the complete Airbus A320 cockpit hardware ecosystem will be largely ready. It will cover overhead, glare shield, radio, EFIS and base panels, fulfilling one-stop cockpit build needs for Airbus sim pilots.
With the Airbus product portfolio nearing completion, we are shifting to a new development roadmap. This October, Rowsfire will focus heavily on the R&D and production of Boeing-series panels. This has been one of the most anticipated updates requested repeatedly by Boeing flight simmers worldwide. We will leverage our full year of manufacturing experience and user feedback to deliver high-fidelity, cost-effective Boeing cockpit hardware to complete builders’ setups.
Software development has also moved forward with the community’s help. In the early days, users relied on MobiFlight to drive our panels. Many enthusiastic community members volunteered to create and share a wide variety of MobiFlight configuration files, helping new users get past the hardest setup hurdles.
Watching how much time everyone spent on complex configuration motivated us to build our own Rowsfire App, designed to eliminate complicated workflows and deliver true plug-and-play.
From early beta builds to today’s stable release, the Rowsfire App has gone through continuous rounds of iteration. None of this would have been possible without our community testers, who patiently ran trials, reported bugs and suggested aircraft compatibility improvements. Thanks to their efforts, we added support for more panels and aircraft, improved device recognition, fixed disconnect issues during long flight sessions, and implemented handy features such as backlight control. What once took dozens of minutes to configure can now be done in under a minute before takeoff. We want to sincerely thank everyone who joined the early testing phase and shared their MobiFlight profiles.
We remember every honest piece of feedback from the community: requests for B107 switch reset logic closer to real aircraft, optimized magnetic start switch feel, improved panel font accuracy. New simmers asked for lower barriers to entry and true plug-and-play. Veteran users hoped for richer presets and expanded firmware compatibility.
We never ignore your input. Small refinements like backlight brightness and switch tactile feel, all the way up to the one-click configuration powered by the Rowsfire App, with full compatibility for MSFS2020/2024 and X-Plane. Your expectations have become tangible features in our products.
We have delayed shipments to enforce strict pre-shipment quality checks, repeatedly adjusted panel colours to match real cockpit environments, and reworked processes again and again to improve user experience. We also received your patience and understanding while we grew. That support is our strongest driving force.
Today, with double factory quality inspection, our own supply chain, pilot-calibrated hardware and a 5-minute plug-and-play experience, Rowsfire serves more than 3,000 captains across hundreds of countries and regions.
